Awaiting Anxiety!

So, most will be unaware that I've been without a studio to work in for over a year. Which, to any artist, is a nightmare. As a glass artist, it's excruciatingly painful. I've been itching to get my hands on some glass and make something - anything at this point.

However, there is news. Currently, I'm getting an extension done, and so I will have my lovely studio, and I will also have an office, where my podcast will begin. But the journey starts with waiting ... demolishing ... waiting .... building ... waiting ... finishing ... Joy!

In the Beginning ....
In the Beginning ....

I know it's going to be a long journey for me—I'm impatient. I know it should only take about 8 weeks, but that feels like a lifetime to me. The itch to get some glasswork done is heating up. I'll be fine once it's done, but in the interim, it's a nightmare.

8 Days in ... slowly getting there!
8 Days in ... slowly getting there!

After 8 days, my anxiety and excitement are building. Go, I dread to think what I'll be like after the 8 weeks. Luckily, I'm also getting distracted with writing, the kids and lots of writing. I need something to do whilst this is going on, so I've returned to another love of mine—fiction writing. Artists and their multiple passions, Lol!

10 days ... the digger got involved!

After 10 days, the digger got involved, and they started work making room to build the foundation. If you want to follow more of my videos, recording the changes as they lead up to building my studio and office, you can do via Instagram or Tiktok.

I'll keep you posted as much as possible on the progress of the studio and office.

Enjoy the rest of your week!!
